He was predeceased by : his brother Jerry Forsythe. He is survived by : his children, Debra Elizabeth Gerstorff (Wendell, Jr.), Betsy Heflin Oxner (Jeff) and Michael Forsythe (Tami); his former life partner Patricia Forsythe; and his daughter Kim Walters. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
