With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda C Machalicek (Waco, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Tanksley and John Tanksley; her sister Marty Brown; her brother-in-law David Brown; and her brother John B. "Bubba" Tanksley.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Machalicek; her daughters, Buffy Nehring (Matt Nehring) and Wendy Machalicek (Micah Klatt); her grandchildren, Keeli Tawney, Juniper Klatt and Kaleb Nehring (Chelbie Nehring); her great grandchildren, Karter, Sophie Nehring, Teigan Tawney and Asher Roberts; and her sister Louise Robinson (Roy Robinson). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
