He was predeceased by : his parents, Agapito Contreras and Bonifacia Contreras; his son Mike Jr. Contreras; and his siblings, Faye Brown, Mary Hixson, Jesse Contreras and Benny Contreras.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Contreras; his children, Melinda Blanco (Ralph) of Riesel, Texas, Tommy Contreras (Dee) of Waco, Texas, Diana Cofer (John) of Bellmead, Texas and Maria Marquez (Roland) of Hewitt, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Tina Contreras (late Mike Contreras, Jr.). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; and his seven great-grandchildren.
