With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vickie Kelly of Waco, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mark Kelly; her parents, Wayne Purvis and Norma Purvis; her aunt Joyce; her uncle George Sessler; and her pets, Jackson, Baxter, Peanut, Bubba and Bonnie.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher and Christy; her siblings, Donald Purvis (Roxanne) and Karen Beets; and her pets, Lily, Daisy, Emma, Thomas, Dorie, Fluffie, Franklin, Gabbie, Hollie, Howard, Ivy, Jefferson, Lincoln, Maddie, Mellen, Rockie, Sadie and Tabitha. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lakeshore Funeral Home (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wonky Whiskers Rescue in Waco or any animal shelter or rescue of your choice.
