He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Katie Shoaf. He is survived by: his wife Shirley James Wease of Wake Village; and his children, Michael Shoaf of Michigan City, Jeremy James and Megan Wease of LaPorte. He is also survived by seven grandsons and a number of other relatives.
