He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Norman and Dorothy Mayo; his wife Barbara Lehmann; his children, Amanda Kanak, Chris Mitchell, Chad Mitchell and Sean Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Cole, Teel, Mary-Caroline, Eliza, Will, Lilly, Matt, Mallory, Blaine, Brayden and Taylor.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church (5518 Demel St, Wallis, TX 77483). A rosary was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church (5610 Demel St, Wallis, TX 77485). A Mass was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery (9421 FM 1952, Wallis, TX 77485).
