He was predeceased by : his parents, Henson Lee Blakely and Neva Blakely (Kesee); his brother Gerald Lee Blakely; and his wife Sue Gerardy Blakely. He is survived by : his daughter Shauna Lane (Nored) of Petersburg; his grandchildren, Cassidy Lane of Eula and Seth Lane of Petersburg; his niece Michelle Webb (Tom) of Jasper; his nephew John Henson Blakely (Jennifer) of Kosse; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Colt Webb, Wyatt Webb, Caleb Webb, Emma Blakely, Jacob Blakely, Kailyn Harris and Kyle Shaver; and his daughter Christi Coverdale (Leroy) of Meridian.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of his wife, Sue and mother, Neva; the American Cancer Society in honor of his brother Gerald; or a veteran's organization of choice.
