He was predeceased by : his parents, Newman Rhodes and Juanita Harrison Rhodes. He is survived by : his wife Lynn Ann Rhodes; his sons, N. H. "Scoot" Rhodes (Kelly) and Jessie "J. P."; his grandchildren, Nathan Rhodes and Jaylin Hock; and his sisters, Juana Matthews and Loy Schultz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
