Edward McClure Griffin Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward McClure Griffin Jr. of Warren, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Edward McClure's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edward McClure has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McClure Griffin, Sr. and Dixie Marie Sutton Griffin; his wife Janie Lou Owens Griffin; and his sister Jeanie Ward. He is survived by: his children, Calvin Ray Hibbard of Michigan, Robert Karstedt of Warren, Cyndi Moreno (Mike) of Aransas Pass, Karen Garcia (Greg) of Santa Fe and Wynonia Talbert of Warren. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesus Name Apostolic Tabernacle. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
