She was predeceased by : her parents, Brown Sheffield and Martha Agnes Pierce Sheffield; her husband Edward Pickett; her children, Danny, Kenny Ferguson and Cissy Ann Ferguson; her siblings, Herschel Sheffield, Helen Bowen and Delores Sheffield; her son-in-law Adam Thomason; and her grandsons, Kenneth Ferguson II and Barry Dean Ferguson II.

She is survived by : her children, Barry Dean Ferguson (Sandra Renee) of Ivanhoe, Becky Darlene Gautreaux (James) of Warren and Darla Elizabeth Thomason of Ivanhoe; and her sister Evelyn Conner (Allen). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
