She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruby Brumfield and Raymond Brumfield; her husband Ocie Whiteley; and her siblings, Mary, Hazel, Jerry, Wanda Joyce and Danny Ray.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Scarlet Stanford, Nick Stanford (Teressa), Sheila Burgess (Lynn), Ruby Nell Gillilan (Gary), Brenda Eastwood (Billy) and Troy Groce (Robin). She is also survived by several great- nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
