With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claudia McMichael (Waxahachie, Texas), born in Tyler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Rickey Gene McMichael. She is survived by: her daughter Courtney Lynn Parker; her son-in-law Bryce Parker; her grandsons, Chase and Hayes Parker; her brother James Arrant (Malinda); her cousins, Janet Latham, Jesse James, Rodney James (Debbie), Larry James and Douglas James; and her friends, Cathy Spitzer, Billie Lofland, Ann Williams and Mary Jane Henry.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (505 W Marvin Ave, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

The family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Waxahachie Education Foundation.
