In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ed leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ed may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Platt and Hazel Platt; and his son Bill Platt. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Carrie Platt Ryan (Robb) and Jeff Platt; his siblings, George "Bobby" Platt (Martha) and Melia Hunter (Lee); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Brown and Sarah Waller (George Waller). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165).
