She was predeceased by : her parents, Edson Chambers and Myrtle Chambers; her husband J. C. Spence; her sons, Roy and Andy Spence; and her siblings, Roy, Ray, Andrew, Cleo, Billy and Elsie.

She is survived by : her children, Adele Smith, Melba Allen and Randy Spence; and her grandchildren, Andrew Spence, TJ Spence, Taylor Smith, Sarah Andrle, Daniel Skelton, Emily Spence and Cooper Allen.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waxahachie Funeral Home (1201 US-287, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (701 US-287 BYP, Waxahachie, TX 75165).
