He was predeceased by : his parents, Hilario Solis and Leocadia Solis. He is survived by : his wife Martha Solis; his children, George Edward Solis (Connie), Lynda Solis, Enrique Solis (Kassi) and Cecilia Solis; his grandchildren, George Andrew Solis, Jose Cruz Solis, Michaela Martin (Michael), Gabriela Solis and Daniel Isai Solis; and his siblings, Ruth Lopez, Mary Ruiz, Naomi Martinez and Sam Solis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Waxahachie Bible Church (621 Grand Ave N, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery (200 Oaklawn, Waxahachie, TX 75165).
