He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Escamilla and Antonia Escamilla; his brother David Escamilla; his nephew Tommy Grimes; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Recksiek, Steve Grimes and Charley Wray.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Escamilla; his son Jason (Misty Escamilla); his grandsons, Jake Escamilla, John (Mary Escamilla) and Gary (Alyssa Escamilla); his great grandchildren, Addison and Molly Brady; his siblings, Frank (Tressie Escamilla), Steven Escamilla, Nita (Bob Mercer), Lori Recksiek and Annette Grimes; his sister-in-law Beverly Wray; his siblings' children, Micah (Jenna Escamilla), Ethan Escamilla, David (Val Wray), Travis (Lindsey Recksiek), Daniel (Alex Recksiek), Emma Grimes, Jamie Grimes, Hailey (Kyle Collins), Donna (Michael Hammer), Michelle (Adrian Casteneda) and Amanda Recksiek; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dwayne England and Jerry Hooker.
