He was predeceased by : his father John William Ansley; his grandparents, Elmer, Ruth Smith, John W. and Lois Ansley; and his brother Jerry Ansley.

He is survived by : his mother Susan Ansley (Smith); his stepfather Tommy Vinson; his brother Jeff Ansley (Karen); and his stepbrothers, Mike Ansley (Marta), Charles Ansley (Cecila) and Bryan Ansley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
