He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Carrizales (Nava) and Guadalupe Carrizales Sr.; his wife Jesusa "Susie" Carrizales; his great grandchild Alessia Ocampo; and his siblings, Adan Carrizales, Eva Rocha, Jesusa Saldana and Guadalupe Carrizales, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Juan Jr. (Nelly Carrizales, Jr.), Eloisa (Billy Rios), Elva (Mel Montemayor III) and Diana (Ramon Lopez). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
