With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaRue Cooke Dyess (Waxahachie, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaRue Cooke Dyess to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Cooke and Una Slocum Cooke; her husband Samuel "Red" Philip Dyess; and her siblings, Ralph (Juanita), Fred (Anna), Phama (Lloyd), Frankie (Lemuel), Betty (Sonny), Mary (Donald), Billy, Hollis (Beatrice), Geneiva (Wesley) and Ina Mae (Wesley).
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Gail Ousley (Tim) of San Antonio, TX and Dana Dyess Stanton; her grandchildren, Vinson Ousley (Brandi), Amber Tuley (Justin), Jerrod Ousley (Melissa) and Kristen Watson; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Mason, Everleigh, Riley, Sadie, Simeon, Silas, Sam, Emery and Maddie; her brother Wendell Cooke (Marva); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Cooke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
