She was predeceased by: her parents, Alejandro Gonzales and Antonia Gonzales; her husband Refugio Mejorado Sr.; her grandchildren, Ruben Wayne Mejorado and Baby Zapata; and her siblings, Ismael Sr., Evangelina, Gloria, Isabel, Mario and Oscar Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Refugio "Rufus" Mejorado Jr., Ruben Mejorado Sr. (JoAnna), Randy Mejorado (Veronika) and Aurelia Carson (Tarrell); her grandchildren, Selena Kenny (Kyle), Refugio "Noah" Mejorado III, Aaron Mejorado (Savannah), Tiffany Westmoreland (Aaron), Rebecca Johnson, Monique Mejorado, Ashleigh Mejorado, Krista Mejorado and Bryson Mejorado; her great grandchildren, Marceline, Stevie, Azaiah, Kash, Shinner, Prescott and Caysen; her brothers, Roy, Rene, David and Charles; and her great grandchild Amira.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (500 E Marvin Ave, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A burial was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery (300 S Hawkins St, Waxahachie, TX 75165).
