She was predeceased by : her father I. C. Lopez (Rodger Smith); her siblings, Carolyn Cardenas, Raymond Lopez and Louis Lopez; and her niece Sonia Byrum.

She is survived by : her daughter Barroni Dyson (Jeremy Brittany Smith); her siblings, Theresa Hill (Roger), Priscilla Lopez, Grace Simpson and Felix Lopez; and her grandchildren, Gavin Donawho, Devin Donawho, Ravyn Dufour (Darby Journey Webb) and Justice Webb. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jeter and Son Funeral Home (4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jeter & Son Funeral Home (4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211).
