He was predeceased by: his son Aaron Phillip McDowra; his parents, Jerald McDowra and Cynthia McDowra; his brother Ricky McDowra; and his grandparents, Rip, Mae McDowra, Carl and Mattie Haley.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Lee Martin McDowra; his daughters, Trulee Montgomery (David) and Mallory Kirkhart (Joey); his grandchildren, Collin Montgomery, Connor Montgomery, Allie Montgomery and Elliot McDowra; and his siblings, Kevin McDowra (Cindy), Pam Poovey (Erik) and Michelle Simpson (Walter). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many other family members and special friends.
