It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Joe Grissom of Waxahachie, Texas, born in Decatur, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Grissom and Joanne Grissom; and his son Charles "Chuck" Grissom. He is survived by : his wife Deborah; his children, Andie Coffin, Wendy Shamel (Rob), Kimberly Goff, Tracey Marquardt (Kirk) and Russell Ward (Liz); his grandchildren, Zack, Missie (Alex), Lex, Brenna, Clayton, Sydney (Jody), Micah (Martha), Noah, Seth (Rebekah), Bryce, Colton, Chae and Jade; his great grandchildren, Daisy, Ian, Emberlynn and Benson; and his siblings, Jim Grissom, Suzy Grissom and Shelley Grissom.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waxahachie Funeral Home (1201 US-287, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the DFW National Cemetery.
