With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin Howell Hammons (Weatherford, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvy Hammons and Mamie Hammons (Feagans); his wife Betty L. Hammons; his siblings, Edith Autry, Doyle Hammons and Dan Hammons; and his grandsons, Mac Allen Hammons and Adam Cooke.

He is survived by: his children, Andrea Cooke (John) of Allen, Texas and Rex Hammons (Joan) of Weatherford, Texas; his granddaughter Morgan Godby (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Mac and Hank Godby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the South Main Church of Christ (201 S Main St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tyson Cemetery.
