He was predeceased by : his parents, Abe Chancellor and Lillian Chancellor (Cantrell); and his brother Abe Chancellor, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Carter Chancellor; and his daughter Jillian Chancellor.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Acton Cemetery.
