With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Austin Shannon (Weatherford, Texas), born in Redding, California, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Billie Shannon and Rose Shannon (Kinkade); and his son-in-law Juan Padilla Requena. He is survived by : his wife Lorie Shannon of Weatherford, Texas; his children, Joseph (Danika Shannon), Courtney (Christopher Hupp), Cheyenne (Kelly Workman), Jeffrey (Carrie Jo Mears), Matthew (Jessica Mears) and Jessica Padilla; his grandchildren, Ethan, Audrey, Owen, Emily, Cadence, Rayden, Gunner, Allison, Maddox, Caleb, Morgan, Avery, Benico, Merritt and Marina; and his siblings, Ronda Lopez and Reynold Shannon.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the East Greenwood Cemetery (500 E Front St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
