Raymond L. Loftis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond L. Loftis (Weatherford, Texas), born in Mineral Wells, Texas, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Raymond leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Raymond may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Ann Loftis; his children, Derek James Loftis and Joy Diane Loftis; and his brothers, James R. Loftis, Jr. and Leonard Loftis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lorena Jennings, Tammy (Charles DeRamus, Jr.) and Teresa (Larry Steward). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Prospect Baptist Church (250 Old Tin Top Rd, Weatherford, TX 76087).
