He was predeceased by : his father Gene L. Davis. He is survived by : his mother Ruby Davis (McCracken); his siblings, Gaylon Davis (Deiann), Rickey Davis and Lawonna Dawson (Carroll); and his nieces and nephews, Bryan, Brad Dawson, Clayton, Casey Davis, Kyle, Kolton Davis, Kasey Pritchard, Amber Hartwell Henry, Heather Abernathie, Whitney Davis and Kaylei Tindal. He is also survived by six great-nephews; and six great-nieces.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the North Side Baptist Church (910 N Main St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
