He was predeceased by : his parents, Elvis White and Betty Nell Patterson White; his brother Dale Elvis White; and his granddaughter Kaylee Needham. He is survived by : his wife Nanette Young Needham of Wellington; his sons, Jeff Needham (Joanie), Jacob Needham (Julie), Jonathan Needham (Stephanie), Devin White (Amber) and Jordan White of Wellington; and his sister Tammy White of Childress.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the ALS Association.
