He was predeceased by : his parents, Fortunato Cavazos and Ventura Herrera Cavazos. He is survived by : his wife Maria C. Cavazos; his brother Aniceto H. Cavazos of Mercedes, TX.; his children, Digna Cavazos Weems (James), Diana Cavazos Rivera (John), David Cavazos (Elilah), Dahlia Castillo (Richard), Maria, Carmen II (late John Ulloa) and Margie Cavazos (Biltrand Andrews); his grandchildren, Daniella Marquez (César), Amanda Cavazos Weems (Gabriel Rodriguez), Elle Cavazos, Michael Weems, Nathan Castillo, Ashley Nohavitza (Scott), Nicholas Castillo, Javier Cavazos Weems, Biltrand Andrews, Jr. and Breanna Andrews; his great grandchildren, César Jesus Marquez and Ford Jarrell Nohavitza; and his caregiver Glenda Mooney. He is also survived by six children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and his youngest.
