He is survived by : his niece Nelda Reyna; his children, Frances Nicole Valderas (Abel) and Jose Luis Reyna Jr.; his close friend Nora Alvarez; his grandchildren, Lourdes Leonor Valderas and Aidan Diego Valderas; and his siblings, Graciela Reyna, Paula Martinez, Marina Rodriguez, Virginia Sweet (Kevin), Aurora Reyna, Ricardo Reyna and Albert Reyna.
