She was predeceased by : her parents, Augustine Rodriquez and Catalina Rodriquez; her sons, Steven and Enrique Mendez; her grandchildren, Steven Hay, Jennifer Janda and Mikaela Mendez; and her husband Ernesto G. Mendez.

She is survived by : her children, Magdalena Lopez (Salvador), Joe Mendez (Rosie), Sylvia Janda, Sally Mendez and Rey Mendez (Maria); her grandson Ethan Mendez; and her great grandchildren, Aidan Aldaco, Avery Aldaco, Max Mendez, Jace Mendez, Timothy Mendez Jr., Hayden Stevens, Blake Schneider, Jynesis Mendez, Brayden Hay and Brianna Hay.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel (393 N Interstate Hwy 35, Georgetown, TX 78628). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Georgetown Memorial Cemetery.
