We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Erminia Garza of West Columbia, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Erminia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Erminia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Garza and Clara Ochoa Garza; her son Steve Lopez; and her brothers, Lupe, Adam, Gilbert and Baldemore Garza.
She is survived by: her sons, Bennie Lopez (Sheila) and Lupe Lopez, Jr. (Dena); and her sister Melva Acuna. She is also survived by five grandsons; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Triska Funeral Home (612 Merchant St, El Campo, TX 77437-3440). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Holy Cross Memorial Park (1617 S Mechanic St, El Campo, TX 77437).
