He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonidas L. McMurrey and Anna Laura Weems McMurrey; and his daughter Dani Michelle McMurrey. He is survived by: his wife Colette M. Travis; his sister Laura Ann Wanstrath; and his stepsons, Brian Ford (Donna) of Lake Jackson and Jimmy Ford (Adriann) of Tacoma, Washington. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
