It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Sims of West Columbia, Texas, born in Montgomery, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Milton Scarborough and Pearl Fuller Scarborough; her brothers, Milton, Oliver, Mike and John Scarborough; and her brothers-in-law, J. W. Sims (Dub) and James Oswalt.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Sassin (Ronnie) of West Columbia, Tammi Murray (John) of Horseshoe Bay and Gary Sims (Dianne) of West Columbia; her grandchildren, Russell Sassin, Lindsey Carder, Brittany Swain, Chesney Sisson, Brett Murray, Coy Sims, Destiny Sager and Jonathan Kasper; and her sisters-in-law, Welda Sims Thurman and Gloria Mae Oswalt.
