With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Melton of West Tawakoni, Texas, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Edwin Sherrod; her husband James Wayne Melton Jr.; her sisters, Karen Sherrod and Vanessa Sherrod; and her stepfather Jack Forbus.
She is survived by: her son James Wayne Melton III (Hannah); her grandchildren, James Wayne Melton IV and Caroline; her children, Mark Lee Sherrod Sr., Katrina Sherrod, Evette Rodriguez and Mother Juanita Forbus; and her sisters, Brenda Sherrod, Tammy Graham, Tina Sherrod and Jessica Patterson (Ricky). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
