She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Mae and Jesse Lee Alexander; her husband Tom; and her siblings, Jesse Lee Alexander Jr. (Merle) and Nancy Fagley.
She is survived by: her brother Houston; her son Tom Lehrer; her grandchildren, John, Claudia, Mark, Julia and Carolyn; her caregivers, Lucy, Lisa, Jes, Shana, Leah, Eucharia and Geraldine; her sister Frances Thomasson; her children, Natalye Appel (John Casbarian) and Patrick Appel (Sondra); her siblings' children, Claire Ginesi, Mark Fagley, Georgia Carmichael and Alex Thomasson; her close friends, John, Shelley Appel, Claudia Casbarian, Victor Benavides, Mark Appel (Rachel Dowd), Julia Casbarian and Nicolas Damiani; her great grandchildren, Olive Benavides and Lily Appel; Susan.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bradshaw Carter Funeral Home (1734 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77098). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services (1734 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77098).
