He was predeceased by: his parents, Carradine Coffer and Callie Coffer (Futch); his former wives, Mildred Detterman and Lois Holder; his son Michael Coffer; and his siblings, Calvin, John, Sam, James, Loyde Coffer, Marie Newson, Dorothy Linville and Amy Ruth Poteet.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Coffer of West; his daughter Susan Culp (Lloyd) of Houston; his daughter-in-law Kathryn Coffer of West; his grandsons, Corky Coffer (Sidney), Steven Coffer (Amanda), Zach Culp (Erin) and Chase Culp; his great grandchildren, Brittney, Rachel, Courtney, Katerina, Kendall, Mercedes, Michael and Charlotte; and his sisters, Mary Hodde (Cotton) and Judy Nash (Mickey). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tokio Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
