She is survived by : her sister Frances Grones Courange-Mings; her friend Nancy Weber; her granddaughter Claire Higginbotham Chaney; her nephew Lee (Jana Courange); and her niece Donna Courange.

Family as requested memorials be made to Valley Mills First Methodist Church or to the Valley Mills Fire Department.
