She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Gillespie Grant (Walter Dee Grant) and Campbell M. Gillespie, III; her wife Mary; and her grandchildren, Dee Grant, III, Sean Grant, Elyssa Grant Bell, Abbey Gillespie, Shelby Gillespie and Jillian Gillespie. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren with multiple nieces and nephews.
Even in her later years as Alzheimer's took her short term memories, Elaine loved to share a meal and dessert, feed the ducks and enjoy nature; the beauty of water, clouds and trees were often discussed.
