It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Flores DeMorales (Wharton, Texas), who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donaciano Flores and Matilde Rodriguez; and her children, Emma Morales and Rogelio Morales. She is survived by: her children, Guillermina Morales, Christina Morales, Esmerelda Morales, Irma Morales, Carmen Morales, Santa Morales, Marisol Morales, Rosario Martinez, Ismael Morales, Abel Morales and Francisco Morales. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Wharton Funeral Home (515 E Boling Hwy, Wharton, TX 77488). A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (506 S East Ave, Wharton, TX 77488).
