He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Leona Buck and Walter Rex; and his son Dennis Wayne Smallwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Deneese Smallwood (Kelly Jennings) and Leona Smallwood Willis (Calvin Eugene Willis); and his siblings, Robert Smallwood and Mary Hart Zuber. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
