We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2021, at the age of 94, Rufus Dawson of Whitewright, Texas, born in Healdton, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Dawson and Frances "Fannie" Jenkins; his son Clifford; and his brother-in-law Norman "Frenchy" Wesley. He is survived by : his wife Bennie Montgomery; his children, Jimmy (Eve), Sandra (Ed), Martin, Donald (Penny) and Kevin (Paula); his friend James Cravens (Robin); and his sister Wanda Wesley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
