She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Cason and Nell Cason (Ballard); her brother John Cason; her husband Miller Herrington; her grandsons, Matthew Duane "Bubba" Howard and Christopher Howard; and her nephew George Cason.

She is survived by : her daughter Cay Herrington Howard (James Howard); her grandchildren, Eli Howard and Jami Vest; and her great grandchildren, Jesse Howard, Travis White, Megan White, Cheyenne Howard and Hailey Howard.
