She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Franklin Patterson and Amanda E. Worsham Patterson; her husband Charles Woodrow Baker; her daughter Gloria Gail Baker; and her siblings, Yvonne Gibson, Maurine Ellis, JC Patterson and William G. Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wayne Baker of Wichita Falls and Dawn DeShelle Schaffer (Mark) of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandchildren, Amelia Gayle Rehn (Landon) of Green Bay and Christopher Warren Schaffer of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Avinlee Rehn, Lucy Madeline Rehn and Clark William Rehn; and her sister Nelda Jean Spruiell of Lufkin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lubbock Cemetery (2011 E 31st St, Lubbock, TX 79404).
As she progressed with her Alzheimer's disease, she still continued reading God's Word and was a faithful prayer warrior.
