He was predeceased by : his son Darin Baumhardt; his siblings, Gus, Bill, Erwin, Virgil Baumhardt and Eleanor Frerich; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Frerich, Edward Schroeder and Betty Baumhardt.

He is survived by : his wife Margie Baumhardt of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughters, Kim Baumhardt Brunk (Sean) and Kristi Baumhardt; his grandchildren, Tiffani Moer Rivers (Louis), Jake Moer, Justin Moer and Kelli Brumbelow (Brendt); his great grandchildren, Jace, Jordon, Jaxon Moer, Tucker, Layla Hrncirik, Cash, Jenne Rivers and Brison Brumbelow; his great great grandchild Oaklee Anne Moer; and his sister Ida Mae Schroeder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (2601 Lansing Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76309).
