Jerry Lee Stevens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Lee Stevens in Wichita Falls, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virnis Oilney and Norma L. "Toots" Stevens (Simpkins); and his siblings, Patricia Stevens and Dewayne Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Jerry Jr. (Susan), Tammy Renee Williams (Christopher), Jeffrey Scott (Trisha) and Rhonda Kay Battles (Eric); his grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Steven Williams, Joshua Stevens, Kristi Powell, Bethany Austin, Caleb Stevens, Jeremiah Stevens of James Stevens, J. T, Justin Stevens, EJ Cruz, Kayla Cruz, Emma Battles and David Fortuna; and his siblings, Jackie (Janice Stevens), Betty (Buddy Davis), Esther (Glenn Cobb) and Ollie Ann Stevens. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lowell-Tims Chapel (1100 E Tamarack Rd, Altus, OK 73521). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, Newton Foundation or St. Jude's Research Foundation.
