It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Wesley Nolen of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Nolen (Jones) and Lewis Edd Nolen; his wife Linda Jackson Nolen; his son Nathan Ross Nolen; and his siblings, Paul Edward Nolen, Melvin Nolen, Luther Floyd Nolen, Ruby Vaughn, Dean Nolen, Charley Nolen, Raymond Nolen, Dorothy Williams, Lewis Grant "Bunk" Nolen and Sue Overton.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Wayne Nolen and Meredith Dionne Nolen (Mallory); and his grandchildren, Austin Nolen, Caroline Nolen, Adlee Nolen, Landree Nolen and Knox Nolen. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home (2812 Midwestern Pkwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76308). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (2812 Midwestern Pkwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76308).
