She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Franklin (Morrisett) and Willis A. Franklin; her daughter Michele Parker; and her stepmother Ruth Franklin (Smith). She is survived by: her husband Charles Simmons; her children, Michael Carlson (Liz Allor), Natalie Brown (Scotty) and John Simmons (Debbie); her grandchildren, Maggie Carlson and Trey Strain (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Braden, Rylie and Ashtyn Strain.
