In the sacred silence of farewell, Kathie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kathie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Baker and Johnnie Baker; and her husband Donald Black. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Sims; her granddaughters, Nicole Boyles (Joshua), Harley Sims and Abby Sims; and her sister Toni Mahler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holliday Cemetery (611 E Olive St, Holliday, TX 76366).
